Many people in this world seem to have a mission or destiny. For some it is money or fame, for others it’s the thrill of discovery and learning. I started off as "Sid Brown's - apprentice litho proofer" back in the 1970s working for Williams Lea. Then I worked at numerous printers eventually setting up my own design for printing company in Essex in 1988. That lasted 4 years before an excellent opportunity came along to move the business up to central London. Through working as an operational promotional marketing and creative services manager I spent 5 enjoyable years at WBMC aka WideBoys the 90s club flyer people in London. I then spent the next 12 years in some very diverse Marketing Services companies such as; Ogilvy One, Publicis Dialog, Ignition Marketing, Alcone Marketing, Intelligent Print Solutions, Altavia-HTT (French company), Euro RSCG Skybridge, 23red, Naked Lunch, Smartfusion, Exposure and Vivid Lime. Download my CV for the full story. I started Journeys Multimedia after meeting and spending some time with Eduardo Lobo. Seeing the potential of working our two businesses separated but linked in a strategic long-term trading partnership, we formed the alliance with Ed and his wife Michelle's business; Loboski IT, back in 2004. Being an Oracle partner helped enhance our combined offering to the market. I remain convinced we can still improve the running of clients budgets and offer a better service for clients than many of our competitors in the sector we that operate in which is Advertising & Marketing.
